We began our love of playing in clay in January 2001.  After 2 years of practicing the art of pottery at N.C. State's Crafts Center (also, in our garage), we established Cape Fear Pottery in the small town of Lillington, North Carolina.

Our pottery is primarily functional, which means it is made to be used.  Our pottery is lead-free, microwave and dishwasher safe, and can even be used in the oven, when cold oven started.

All of our pottery is either wheel thrown or built by hand. We do not use molds for any of our pieces, therefore, each piece is unique and has no exact duplicate.
